CoD2: Setup could not determine the current version of your Call of Duty 2 installation. Please verify that the game has been properly installed.

If you get the "Setup could not determine the current version of your Call of Duty 2 installation. Please verify that the game has been properly installed." error in CoD2 Patch v1.3 or any other patch setup, I have a very simple solution. Download this file: https://www.fileplanet.com/archive/p-75422/Call-of-Duty-2-Patch-Switcher-1-1/download Be careful, the website have lots of ads. Remember to create a copy of your game. Then extract the version you want into the root folder of the game. Done.

CoD2 black screen fix.

I have found two solutions: Locate your CoD2MP_s.exe , right click, Properties, Compatibility, and set "Run this program in compatibility mode for" to " Windows XP (Service Pack 3) ". Other one is more simple. Go to the main/players folder. There, you will see MATRIX or your own profile. Click on that folder. There, you will have  config_mp . Replace it with this file: https://www.gamingcfg.com/config/stewzoR

Call of Duty File sum/name mismatch fix

If you get this error in any CoD, this means either you have too many iwd files in your mods folders or you have too many maps in usermaps folder. CoD1, CoD2, CoD4, Mw2, Mw3, Bo, Bo2 Edit: It's back!  The racist is back! I faced up with the same problem even while having no mods and maps. 1.7 patch solves it. If I face up with it again, I'll look out for another solution. Snotgob out!   Jumps down the hill, in the forest.
